Time course study of A-431 epidermal cancer cells treated with UE by C6, twice a day
Cells were stained by H+E for this study.
The wells (A,B,C,D) demonstrate cells treated by UE for 5, 10, 15 and 20 sec. respectively, with two UE transfers per day.
Surprisingly, as these pictures show, in this experiment, even two transfers a day by C6 gave good results by eliminating cancer cells.
Again, 15 and 20 sec. seem to be the times of choice for treatment in this experiment.

Effects of UE on A-431 cancer cells when treated by hand contact (transfer on the labtek wall), once or twice a day
Cells were stained by H+E for this study.
Control cells in untreated wells (A,C) continued to grow, while wells treated by UE for 1 minute, once a day (B), showed a decrease in the number of cells.
(D) shows a greater effect when treatment by contact was performed twice a day in this experiment.
This figure also demonstrates that a 1-minute UE-treatment is enough to obtain good results when it is done by hand contact (compared to just seconds, when done by C6).

Cells were stained by H+E for this study.
There was no noticeable difference between the control untreated cells (A,C) and the treated cells (B,D), when they were treated by hand contact for 2 minutes, twice a day. In all wells, cells grew in a similar way, demonstrating the inefficiency of this protocol of treatment.

Cells were stained by H+E for this study.
Treated wells (B,D) demonstrated a significant decrease in the number of cancer cells compared to the untreated control wells (A,C)
This figure shows that 30 seconds of treatment is significantly effective when performed by C6, and that 18 hours is a good time interval (between 2 transfers) similar to a 24-hour interval, for cells in vitro.
